Well its Christmas

Yes its Christmas time again and this year I get to spend it with the great Kelly Klan, AKA my auntie and uncle and their/my 4 children/cousins. The pile of presents that were given to the kids this morning was amazing to say the least but the look on their faces as they started opening the mound of presents was worth the 30-40 minute wait.

I’ll give Christmas this, it brings much joy and jubilation to the children and my auntie J who seemed to get and know every thing she was getting.

Anyway I hope your all having the very best Christmas possible and I will next post either just before or just after the great Lapland trip.

Merry Christmas to you all.

Hair today gone tommrow

Old short hairstyle
Photo taken today for travel card
Many people have recently started talking about the condition of my hair. Around five months ago I decided to let it grow a bit, well its grown and grown until its in the state its in now. Instead of being straight like my short hairstyle it’s a little curly and the side part of my hair stick out sideways! I look like some mad scientist. Now this has had a mixed reaction from friends and family, so far there are 3 opinions.
  1. Get my haircut immediately without fail and go back to the short hair style.
  2. Just get the side bits trimmed a bit.
  3. Leave it for longer.

I think I’m with 3 myself, I’ve never had long hair and this is a new experience for me and I like the hairstyle. So what do you all think? The old short hair style or the new longer one?

The Fox Movie Review

Yes it that time again (well not really as I’ve never done one of these before) for a Fox review. This weeks review is on the long awaited movie ‘The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe’. Based on the C.S.Lewis Novel of Narnia, this movie starts on the second part of the series long story. With the like of Dawn French and Shawn Connery to provide voices this movie already had me hooked. I will not go through the story or the movie in detail as I don’t want to spoil it for the rest of you. I have to say that it would be to your benefit to re-read or read the book before going to see it, there is a lot of explanation in the book where there is little in the movie.

I know I’ve not said much about anything to be honest I’m really against spoil it for the rest of you, so go see it. For the fact I’ve written this into my blog is enough evidence that it is a good movie and keep very true to the book with little deviation.

As I sit here doing my art.

At last a subject I enjoy is now on my timetable, gone are the days of early morning PE lesson (By teaching us in a PE lesson it shows us how to teach the lesson!) to be replaced with ART!! Yes, I enjoy it so much, I think I’m more of a ‘copy’ artist. Meaning that I can 9 times out of 10 copy a piece of art, a drawing. However, I think I am quite incapable of drawing an original piece. This does not upset me cause teachers often have to copy art out of books etc to go on displays.

So here’s what I did this week, not the best drawing in the world but considering I’ve not drawn in a few months not bad either. Don’t know if I like cross-hatching but that’s what we was being taught so I had to give it a go.

Also I’ve just been on a friends website and she put up a photo of me and her that I had not seen so that’s coming up next …

And here are a few of my science specialist in my group, what are we studying? Forces using play ground equipments of course!!
