The Majestic Thunder Storm

Just a short post before I go into school.
Thunder storms, to me these are a thing of greatness. They light up the sky and your life. They are majestic and beautiful in a dangerous way. We are always told as children in schools and at home that electricity and water DO NOT MIX well try saying that to a thunder storm! Raining and lighting.

Why is he going on about storms then? Well last night we had one here in Northampton and it was GREAT!! I could not see the fork of the lighting but wherever it was striking it kept lighting up the whole sky! It was amazing. Even though I enjoy thunder storms (Must be genetic as my Dad loves watching them too) I lost all my signal bars on my mobile and it kept cutting out. Hahaha kind of weird not having the use of my mobile! It was nice to hear the rain too, nothing is a better relaxer than hearing rain full on a window! Anyway I was get to school, I have a folder of work to complete before I meet my tutor tomorrow.

I really love thunderstorms. Being out here in the West of Australia, we get them quite a bit in the change of season, most of the time during the hot summer nights from November thru January. These are just dry electrical storms over the ocean. The only time it really gets scary is when the wind picks up, the rain starts and it becomes a real storm. We had real tornados thru about 2 months ago! Makes you grateful that you have a roof over your head and youre warm and dry.
